The only surprising part of this story was the speed Gunner took to change his sexuality. I question whether that would occur as rapidly as it did in this story ... 24 hours? And the dirty sock gig was just gross ... sorry. Other than that, the pull between the characters was hot and heavy. Briscoe was certainly a sadistic dominant and if you're looking for that, he delivers.
This book was scorching hot and intense. One I couldn't put down. Definitely one of Mr. Kennedy's best. I hope there's a sequel. Would love to read more about Briscoe Cooper's intense control.
If you are into the BDSM genre than this is a book for you! I only hope that Mr. Kennedy is planning a sequel because at the end of this book a lot more was revealed about Briscoe Cooper, the was even a hint at a more tender side to his personality plus I want Briscoe and Gunner to go to Key West!
